The DART (Disruptive Attritable Radar Target) is an innovative, man-portable radar emitter system engineered to simulate the radio frequency (RF) signatures of modern surface-to-air threats. Built for today’s combat air forces, DART provides a dynamic and realistic training environment that directly supports mission rehearsal, weapons evaluation, and blue force survivability.
Unlike traditional threat emitters that are expensive, immobile, and limited in number, DART is designed from the ground up to be attritable—an intentionally low-cost, expendable solution that enables high-density deployment without compromising budget or operational flexibility.
With variants available in C, X, and S-band, DART covers a broad swath of the RF spectrum, allowing for precise emulation of contemporary integrated air defense systems (IADS). Its frequency agility, configurable pulse modulation, and high power output ensure credible threat replication at tactically relevant ranges. And with as low as a 6-minute setup time, remote operation via WiFi/LTE/Starlink, and a system footprint that fits in a single pelican case, DART delivers unmatched versatility and realism to any range environment.
